Case study

World’s second-largest quick-serve restaurant chain gains insights into 4,000+ storefronts

Incite helped the world’s second-largest quick serve restaurant chain build a web-based scorecard to measure franchise operations along a uniform set of metrics.

This not only gives executives insight into individual franchise performance but ties into a back-end bonus payout system. Corporate executives can sort by overall customer satisfaction, restaurant compliance, training metrics, different geographies, and time periods. Individual franchise operators can review their own performance metrics at any time.

Incite also built a dynamic sales performance mobile app to monitor daily performance metrics of the company’s 4,000 storefronts. Today, performance reports are issued on a week-to-date, period-to-date, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date basis, providing an accurate sales comparison to historical performance (for a variety of time periods). Transaction analysis identifies top and bottom performers, while location analysis correlates market test data and weather-related sales impacts.

This restaurant chain’s scorecard makes it easy to stay on top of each region’s performance with a quick top-level view.

This mobile app provides at-a-glance performance trends by location and time.
